Getting Started

Create an account — Sign up with your phone number or Apple/Google sign-in.
Set up your profile — Add your name and connect your Google Calendar for two-way sync.
Grant permissions — Allow microphone access for voice commands and contacts access to easily invite friends.
Talk to PodIt — Tap the voice orb on the home screen and say something like "Schedule lunch with Sarah on Friday at noon."
Create a POD — Go to the PODs tab to create a group (family, friends, coworkers) and start scheduling together.

What is a POD?

A POD is a scheduling group in PodIt. You can create PODs for your family, gym crew, work team, or any group of people you regularly schedule with. PodIt can find times when all POD members are available.

How does voice scheduling work?

Tap the voice orb on the home screen and speak naturally. Say things like "Book a team dinner for Friday evening" or "When is everyone in my family pod free this weekend?" PodIt's AI understands your intent, resolves contact names, checks for conflicts, and creates events automatically.

Why does PodIt need microphone access?

PodIt uses the microphone to process your voice commands for the AI scheduling assistant. Audio is processed in real time and is not stored permanently. You can also use text input if you prefer not to use voice.

Why does PodIt need contacts access?

Contact access lets PodIt resolve names you mention in voice commands (e.g., "Schedule with Sarah") and makes it easy to invite friends and family to your PODs. Your contacts are processed securely and never shared with third parties.

Can I sync with Google Calendar?

Yes! Connect your Google Calendar in your profile settings. PodIt supports two-way sync — events you create in PodIt appear in Google Calendar and vice versa.

Is PodIt free?

Yes, PodIt is currently free to use. All core features including voice scheduling, PODs, calendar sync, and bookings are available at no cost.

How do I invite someone to my POD?

When creating or viewing a POD, tap "Add Member" and select a contact. They'll receive an invite via SMS or a shareable link. Recipients can preview the POD even without downloading the app.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → scroll to the bottom → tap "Delete Account." Your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You can also email us at dev.podit.app@gmail.com to request account deletion.

Troubleshooting

Voice commands aren't working

Ensure microphone permissions are enabled in your device Settings → PodIt.
Check that your device is not in Silent mode.
Make sure you have a stable internet connection — voice processing requires connectivity.
Try restarting the app if the voice orb is unresponsive.

Events not syncing with Google Calendar

Go to Profile and check that your Google Calendar is connected.
Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Google account.
Pull down to refresh on the Calendar tab to force a sync.

Not receiving POD invites

Check your SMS inbox (invites are sent via text message).
Ask the POD creator to resend the invite or share the invite link directly.
Make sure the phone number on your account matches what the inviter used.

App crashes or won't load

Update to the latest version from the App Store.
Force-close and reopen the app.
Restart your device if the issue persists.

Voice data is processed in real time for AI scheduling and is not permanently stored.
Contact data is used only to resolve names and send invitations — never sold to third parties.
